What is the Day of Dreams Sale?
The Day of Dreams is an annual sample blowout held at The Dresser Bridal. Fabulous designer wedding gowns marked down to just $100-$500 for ONE DAY ONLY.
So it’s a sale?
Yes, it is! A big one! And as the event becomes more highly anticipated each year it has grown into more than a sale. It is an adventure for brides from Orange County and beyond that is sure to become a wedding planning memory.

The Dresser is on WEST Commonwealth Ave just west of Harbor Blvd. One mile north of the 91 freeway in historic Old Town Fullerton. Our boutique is next to Roscoe’s Deli and across the street from Ace Hardware and Salon Technique.
Are the dresses for sale really designer, name-brands?
Yes! There will be a selection of gowns from every designer line we carry: Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley, Destinations, Casablanca, Blue by Enzoani, Modeca for Enzoani, Ella Bridals, Essense of Australia, Martina Liana, Mon Cheri, Kathy Ireland for 2Be, San Patrick, James Clifford and MORE!
What is the price range?
At the sale everything is marked way down! Dresses that retail for $1,000, $2,000, even $3,000 are all less than $500 each. Every single dress available will be $100, $200, $300, $400, $500 – no exceptions!
Since this is a sample sale will all the dresses be damaged or size 10 only?
Absolutely not! Our salon prides itself on maintaining the integrity of our stock pieces and offering a wide range of sample sizes. In addition to floor models there will also be brand new, never worn gowns offered in sizes 6 – 20. Smaller sizes tend to go fastest so get there early if you are petite.
What time should I get there?
At previous events the line has formed as early as 6 AM or 7 AM. We do recommend arriving as early as you can to have the biggest selection. However if you cannot arrive until the afternoon, not to worry!
Can I make an appointment?
No, the sale is first come, first serve.
Can I preview the dresses before the event?
No, the dresses are preselected and removed from the salon in preparation for the event.
How is it different than any other day at the boutique?
The sale is a high-energy, fast-paced sale environment. It is not as crazy as “the running of the brides,” or chaotic cat-fight events you may have seen on TV, but it is FUN, FAST, and EXCITING. Adreneline might run high but we have organized it to be fair to each and every bride and to make sure everyone has a good time.
The Dresser Stylists can quickly assist with corsets, zippers, gown recommendations, etc. but this is not a full service day at the salon so you’ll want to have an idea ahead of time about your size and the general style or shape gown you are looking for.
How does it work?
Once the doors open at 9 AM, a set number of brides (and their entourages) will be let in at a time. Once inside brides will find the sale dresses organized by size. Brides/guests can pull and try on as many dresses as they wish but they’ll need to work quickly because there is a time limit for each group. Once the group’s time is up dress selections must be made and the store is prepared for the next group.
What if my time is up and I can’t decide?
There is NO LIMIT to the number of rounds OR the number of dresses per guest. If you need more time you can get back in line for another round or you can just buy your top 2-3 choices and decide later! At just $100-$500 everyone can afford a dress-change.
Can I hold a dress while I re-wait in line?
