We know it sounds ridiculous but we are super excited about the brand new parking structure located just behind our salon on Santa Fe Ave in the SoCo District of downtown Fullerton. For years we have managed without a parking lot of our own and our brides have been gracious (and patient) when they’ve had to circle the block for parking. Of course there is street parking available in front of our salon, but getting one of those coveted spots can be a challenge on our busiest days. So we are thrilled that the new parking structure is conveniently located just a short stroll from our salon. Here you’ll see just a few spots available in front of our salon:
And now here is the fabulous parking structure open for public parking:
Isn’t it lovely. We even made a short video on how to find the new structure. Enjoy!
Okay, so we may be a bit too excited about this parking structure but we know it’ll provide convenience for our brides and help usher them into our store with less stress so they can enjoy the wonderful experience of finding their dream wedding gown at The Dresser Bridal!
Whether or not your favorite television show won anything at this Sunday’s 64th Annual Emmy Awards, there were definitely some winners in the fashion department! This year’s red carpet saw no shortage of bold, bright and unexpected styles from our favorite TV starlets. We were especially happy to see a few designs that were stunning enough to make the jump to bridal wear.
We absolutely fell in love with these “bridal-esque” gowns. Just imagine walking down the aisle in one of these gowns, sporting a luscious bouquet and an airy veil. Magnifique!
There were so many head-turning styles gracing the red carpet. Surprisingly, yellow seemed to be the color of champions this year (Julie Bowen, Claire Danes & Julianne Moore all wore bright yellow hues and walked away winners). Here are just a few of our favorites. And the nominees are…
And the winner for best dressed goes to… It’s easy to see why these ladies are red carpet winners. Each gown looks tailor-made for each leading lady. Not to mention that each of these designs have incredibly figure-flattering silhouettes, which are timeless. So congratulations to all of our winner. Take a bow ladies; you deserve it!
We get a kick out of brides like Ashley. She is so vibrant and creative; just look at her wedding! With the help of friend and event planner Teresa of Tala Events, Ashley and Kris’s wedding, held at the famous Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, is chock- full of fun decor and personal touches. Ashley looks so chic in her San Patrick gown “Calais,” to which she added our “Dillon” belt from Blue by Enzoani. Oh and her bridesmaids look fabulous in their Bill Levkoff dresses (styles 105 & 112)! Of course, all of this loveliness was captured by the very talented Hollin Brodeur. We can’t express enough how wonderfully perfect this wedding is, so these photos will have to do…and these pictures are truly worth a thousand words.
We love Kate Spade…no really, we love the clean modern designs. Everything from her everyday-wear to handbags and accessories are playful and fresh. We were inspired by her new “Art of the Dot” campaign and decided to put together a bridal idea board full of dots and spots that are sure to brighten your day. Enjoy!
As you know, New York’s Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013 comes to an end today. And although we focus primarily on bridal fashions, we couldn’t help ourselves and needed a little every day couture inspiration. There were hundreds of gorgeous Spring 2013 fashions and trends to pine over the next few months. The funny thing is, among all the bright colors, shapes, and prints, we saw a lot of RTW styles that looked suspiciously like bridal fashions. Of course, we in the bridal world have out own week dedicated to bridal fashion but we were just as excited to see these bridal-esk gowns hit New York’s couture runways. Here are a few that caught our eye:
We also found some fancy footwear that could make the crossover into bridal with ease. (Clockwise: DKNY; Cushnie et Ochs; Kate Spade; Parabal Gurung)
(Clockwise: Christian Siriano; Honor; Peter Som; Creatures of the Wind)
